I pulled into the parking lot of the music festival with Yuri. She looked delighted, but I couldn’t look less pleased. We got out of the car and headed to the fairgrounds where the music festival was held. We visited a few stands for food and souvenirs, but the music was so loud our skulls seemed to buzz.
“One more stand?” Yuri asked.
I nodded, desperate to get out of here. We headed to one last stand. At the stand, a familiar music played. At first, I thought nothing of it, but it got louder, and louder, and my head started to hurt, a lot! Yuri didn’t seem to notice, so I took a good, hard, look at the man running the stand. He was the man from my dreams, and he was holding a dagger by his side. I noticed his eyes briefly glow red. I turned to Yuri.
“Run,” I said.
She looked at me, confused, but then she saw the man with the red eyes. She started running, dropping the snow globe that she had been holding. I was right beside her. I slowly moved ahead
